Yuanta Bank

Responsibilities and duties for board members include the following:

  • Ratify the company's guiding principles and plans.
  • Ratify the company's budget and provide a final audit on financial numbers.
  • Ratify the company's rules and regulations.
  • Ratify important company laws.
  • Propose capital increases or decreases and stock issuance.
  • Propose a plan for profit distribution or appropriation to make up for any losses.
  • Resolve to issue corporate bonds.
  • Resolve plans to buy back company stock.
  • Oversee the appointment and removal of management.
    (Including head of internal auditing)
  • Ratify the acquisition and disposal of assets.
  • Decide on the date to hold shareholder meetings.
  • Appoint directors and supervisors for subsidiaries.
  • Other items relating to rules and regulations and shareholder rights.

    Mr. Chang is currently the Chairman and Director of Yuanta Savings Bank Korea Co.,Ltd.
    Mr. Chang was formerly as the Vice Chairman,President of Yuanta Bank .The Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Strategy Officer and the Chief Risk of Yuanta Financial Holdings. The Executive Vice President of Yuanta Securities and the Director of Yuanta Life.

  • Hsiao Ling ChouVice Chairman

    Ms.Chou is currently the Yuanta FHC, Chief Corporate Banking Officer and Vice Chairman of Yuanta Futures.

    Ms. Weng is currently the President of Yuanta Bank
    Ms. Weng was the general auditor of Yuanta FHC and the vice president of Yuanta Bank .

    Mr. Weng is currently the Chairman of Yuanta FHC, the Chairman of Yuanta life.
    Mr. Weng was the President and the general auditor of Yuanta FHC,the Chairman and the general auditor of Yuanta Bank ,the director of Yuanta Life, the director and the President of Polaris Securities, and the executive director and the vice president of Bank of Overseas Chinese.

    Mr. Ma graduated from University of South California.

    He was the Special President Assistant of Yuanta Construction Development, the president of Hisnchu Glass Works, a Director of Yuanta-Core Pacific Securities, the CEO of SYSPower, Vice-Chairman of Yuanta Commerce Bank, and the Chief Executive Vice President at Yuanta Financial Holdings.
